Pre-Teen Aerial Fitness Program

SEMESTER CLASSES 

 

Does your child love to hang upside down? Love to monkey around? Our Youth Aerial Fitness Program offers a fun fitness opportunity that students can use to learn how to focus, climb, & wrap themselves in. Your child will learn to fly & dance creatively up in the air! Students will also increase strength & flexibility as they are taught basic hangs, climbs, locks, & inversions.

Class time includes basic yoga warm-ups, conditioning games on the silks, instruction of skills & poses in a safe environment. Students will learn basic moves on Aerial Sling Hammock & Aerial Sliks during semester classes.

 

Summer Camps include all apparatus: hammock, silks, trapeze, lyra, & aerial yoga.

Semesters sessions run 5 weeks & summer camp run 5 days.

Ages 9-12 - Limited Space Available/Sign up in advanced REQUIRED

Ages 13+ are permitted in adult classes

SAFETY RULES & CLASSROOM POLICIES

KIDS:

  1. All the adult rules apply to any kids’ circus and aerial class, & it is extremely important for children to follow ALL instructions given to provide a safe class & enough time for each child to participate (taking turns when necessary).

  2. For safety reasons & so children can focus solely on learning & play, parents may only watch class for the last 15 minutes of class. Parents must keep their distance from students & please do not give instructions.

  3. Walking only in the studio (unless otherwise instructed).

  4. Only get on the equipment with instructor supervision.

  5. Please use 6-inch voices when talking in the aerial studio.

  6. Absolutely no swinging on the equipment (Spinning is allowed with instructor’s permission).
