Gentle Yoga

Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice.  This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, & flexibility.  Each class will end with an extended period of relaxation. This class is appropriate for anyone of any age, shape, or size. No experience or flexibility required.

Vin/Yin Yoga

This practice is designed to bring balance to the two energies within the body – the feminine Yin & masculine Yang. We’ll start with a quick warm up & then move into a moderate flow practice to heat the body.

 

The second half of practice we will slow down & cool down, spending time in a handful different Yin yoga postures to target the connective tissue of the hips, shoulders & spine. This combined practice will help build strength & stamina, as well as flexibility. 

 

You’ll leave with a sense of harmony, lightness, & ease that you can carry with you through the rest of your evening.

Rise & Shine Yoga

Rise & Shine Yoga. Start your day with intention, mindful breathing, & flow through an all-levels heat-building Vinyasa Flow practice for strength, flexibility, & balance. Ending the class with relaxation, you will leave ready to take on your day. Flow is a vigorous class where the movements are connected to each other in a flowing manner and linking movement with the breath is a primary focus.  Beginners are welcome and will be encouraged to pace themselves and focus on mastering the basic poses before moving onto the more complex poses.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice focused on applying moderate stress to the connective tissues – tendons, fascia, and ligaments – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.  Most stretches and poses are mat based and tend to be held for longer periods of time. This meditative approach to yoga helps cultivate awareness of one’s inner stillness. This class is appropriate for anyone of any age, shape, or size. No experience or flexibility required.

IF THERE ARE NO ONLINE SIGN UPS 3 HOURS PRIOR TO CLASS START TIME-CLASSES WILL BE CANCELLED FOR THAT DAY.

CLIENT CLASS CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE 6 HOURS PRIOR TO THE START OF A RESERVED CLASS. IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND OR CANCEL WITHIN 6 HOURS OF START TIME YOU WILL BE FULLY CHARGED FOR THE CLASS, OR BE CHARGED LATE CANCELLATION FEES.
